Founded by textile designers Junko Jinushi and Kyoko Kato, Antipast was born in 1991 from the creative energy that the two felt when working together on accessories and costumes for magazines.
Named after the popular Italian starter, which arouses anticipation for the upcoming meal, Antipast reflects the desire of the two Japanese designers to look to the future of the fashion world.
