It is made from soft silk, speckled with miniature dots and dyed in chalky pink.
Bandhani is a traditional weaving and dyeing technique from India.
The chalky pink color is achieved through a mixture of indigenous ingredients from the Indian countryside such as rubia, harda and alum solution.

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and not to expose it to direct sunlight, as this can lead to color changes.- Do not bleach

NOTE:
It is normal for naturally dyed garments to fade in the first few washes, after which the colors stabilize. The fading and bleeding of natural dyes leads to graceful fading over time.
