Jacket NJAC

€620,00

An oversized jacket made from hand spun and hand woven indigo dyed fabrics with button closure, classic shirt collar and lined long sleeves.

Yarn dyed shibori and bandhani textiles layered together with hand embroidered details accentuate the piece.
Shibori dyeing on textiles is a traditional Japanese dyeing technique in which fabrics are patterned and dyed using various tying or folding methods.

Hand-spun yarn is made with a single Gandhi charkha spindle.

Recycled pieces are those where after cutting and stitching the garment, we use all the leftover scraps and make recycled patchwork out of it. The individual pieces are quilted together.
Kantha is a traditional craft with running stitches used for quilting.
Natural indigo is dyed in a 100% fructose-based fermentation process.
